We are looking for a Sr. Cloud Engineer to be a key member of the technology team and build our healthcare platform focused on improving patient clinical outcomes and experience while reducing cost and increasing efficiency for health systems.

 Role 

Integral to our Technology team, the Senior Cloud Engineer will drive a wide variety of projects to support and maintain the organization's infrastructure & tooling in a multi-site environment.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience building & supporting secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Programming languages (Python, Go, Typescript, Javascript)
  • 5+ years of CICD and infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CloudFormation).
  • Monitoring and incident management tools such as NewRelic, DataDog, OpsGenie
  • Operating in local & remote Docker containerized Linux environments.
  • Source version control using Git and remote Git hosting providers such as GitHub.
  • Ability to automate & effortlessly deploy front end applications, APIs, databases and micro-services on multiple containerized environments using infrastructure-as-code.
  • Implementing security into the practice of DevOps; standing up and maintaining a HIPAA compliant environment. 
  • Intimate knowledge of AWS services: VPC, IAM, EC2, EBS, ELB, ECS, S3, Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, Route 53, Gateways, Cloudwatch, Lambdas.
  • Experience with message queuing, e.g. SQS, NSQ
  • Continuously build and integrate tools that promote developer & tester productivity.
  • Build resiliency, elasticity & redundancy in an AWS cloud environment.
